because iw ant to find out what the motherboard name is and update it
the only thing i know is that its a packard bell nec imedia

any help apreciated
i used everest, belaric advisor they all say motherboard name unknown

Packard Bell NEC 00000001
System Serial Number: a123456789
Chassis Serial Number: 50424E
Enclosure Type: Desktop

You best bet would be to go to the manufactures website and enter their support. Most all of them allow you to enter your serial number or product code which will be on a sticker on the bottom normally, and they should have the drivers which will allow you to find out who makes the motherboard. You can then choose to use their most up to date driver or go to the actual manufacture of your motherboard and check for updates there! Hope this helps some…sorry I couldn’t just tell you the name and give you a link to the most recent driver for it!

I have tried ALL availible drivers, plus dragging my own driver from a near exact same laptop that uses the same wireless thing.

ANY help would be glady appreasiated and of course the most helpfull will get the points for best answer
Thx in advance
TIve checked the button on the front, the light is on, indicating its turned on, but the machine will not recognise it, it worked perfectly before, re installed windows, nothing to show the installation was bad.
The wireless card was installed with the laptop, all stock parts here:D Ive checked the button on the front, the light is on, indicating its turned on, but the machine will not recognise it, it worked perfectly before, re installed windows, nothing to show the installation was bad. what could cause this?

By looking at the network adapters list there is no wireless listed at all…. Is the RADIO CARD turned on?

Toshiba and other laptops do have a switch to enable and disable the radio cards, if that is off, you won’t even see the card in the Device Manager. You don’t so that is my "best guess"
Once the card shows up in the device manager, THEN you can add the driver! Until that card shows in the device manager, your operating system can’t add it!

It also explains how you can use iSCSI storage for VMware vSphere, Hyper-V with Live Migration or any other server applications that you configure for High Availability with failover clustering. You will learn that iSCSI SAN can be build with SAN Software and any standard Intel-architecture x86 or x64 servers that you can apply in your IT environment and have a highly available and highly reliable storage infrastructure with advanced features such as Synchronous Mirroring with Automatic Failover, Remote Replication for disaster recovery, CDP/Snapshots and Thin Provisioning. You can also download the accompanying whitepaper “Why iSCSI 2010″ from the whitepaper section of our website.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-geforce-graphics,2086-2.html

Best card for $60 would be the 4650.

The 3450 isn’t that great you can check out this chart here (only lists the mobile but the desktop isn’t much better)

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-geforce-graphics,2086-7.html

But to get the best performance but still cheap I’d go with the 9600GT or 3870 they’ve listed at $95.
